A quick update on Zoomigurumi 3 to let you know it will be available for pre-sale on March 1st. You can find out more and see the previous Zoomigurumi books here: www.amigurumipatterns.net/books
Exciting news…Look who made the front cover…My very own Hedley the Hedgehog!
If you’re an amigurumi enthusiast then you’ll really love these books. There’s such a mix of different styles from a variety of experienced designers. The patterns have different skill levels so there’s something for everyone within the covers of one of these books. I think you’ll be spoiled for choice! Here are the other contenders for the front cover to give you a tantalizing peek at two of the other designs that will be in the new book.

Even if you’re a beginner, or totally uninitiated to amigurumi, these books have a great explanation guide at the beginning, telling you everything you need to know in both words and diagrams. I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy of Zoomigurumi 3. When I’m not designing my own amigurumi I just love following other peoples patterns instead. It’s my relaxing spare time go-to activity (along with sock knitting and granny squares). A bit of a busmans holiday I know, but I just can’t get enough of all that yarny happiness!

You have a new fan, love your critters. Your designs bring sunshine to an otherwise cloudy day! Thank you

Adorable! I am definitely interested in buying the books, I LOVE amigurumi! I was just wondering if there was a list of which animals are in which book posted some where. If so if you could point me in the right direction that would be great! 😀

Thanks! You should be able to find all the info you need on this page: http://www.amigurumipatterns.net/books/ There is a large picture with all the designs featured. The top 2 rows of animals are from Zoomigurumi 3, the middle two rows from Zoomigurumi 2 and the bottom two rows from the first Zoomigurumi. (The first two are also available separately from Amazon). They should keep you busy for a while!

Still confused about the feet. Is there a video tutorial?

Hi Janine
I’m struggling to do Hedley the hedgehogs feet, I’m confused with the first tie where you crochet 6, skip 12. On rnd 2 it’s says crochet 6, I’m I turning the work? I just can’t seem to make it work.
Many thanks

The idea is to crochet on the six stitches only but don’t turn the work. Instead continue in the same direction so you are working in a spiral like you did for all the other amigurumi pieces you have already made. You will then end up with a small tube for the first toe. Hope that’s clearer now!
