Teeny Tiny Snowmen

Is anybody dreaming of a White Christmas yet, or is it still just me and Bing?

How about making up a bunch of these cute little guys while you’re waiting. These are the perfect size for Christmas decorations at around 3 ” tall when made with light worsted weight (DK) yarn and a Size C (2.75mm) hook. They only take about a half hour or less per snowman. If you start now you could have a whole tree full by Christmas!

Teeny tiny snowmen love to do synchronized skating on the ice.

Even when they all fall down they make pretty synchronized circle shapes!

Please click the buttons below to download the pattern.

Here are two teeny tiny snowmen with their even smaller teeny tiny teeny weeny friend. To make him just use sport weight (4 ply) yarn and a 2 mm hook. He measures about 2″. Perfect for a seasonal bag charm or maybe a lovely one of a kind cracker gift.

  20. What size beads do you use?

  21. I love your snowmen, but I cannot get the pattern to load. Could you e mail the pattern to me please. Thanks so much

  22. love these little guys! Would you happen to know how the size would change if I used a larger hook or yarn? I have a lot of super saver yarn left but I really want to keep the snowmen miniature like you made them.

    • Hi Lynn, the size would go up a little bit but they would still fit in the palm of your hand I should think. Maybe try using a smaller hook than you would normally use for your SuperSaver yarn. That would give you a slightly smaller snowman with a denser, tighter fabric.

  23. Thanks! Gonna try making them this week! 🙂

  24. Hi, these are so sweet! Could I have the pattern for these and the rainbow owls please? Thank you! x

  32. Can’t wait to make some of these!!! Right now I am in the middle of my 4th afghan in about 3 months time and have at least one more to do before Thanksgiving. Will work on these after that. Been crocheting (self taught) since I was about 7.

  33. Wow! My two little granddaughters would love a set of these sweet little snowboys and snowgirls! Would you share your pattern?
Since retiring from my nursing career I am learning crochet and having a ball. These cuties would be fun to make and put them in a crochet Christmas stocking for my Adeline and Emilia!

    • Sure! The download button should take you straight to a document you can print out, but if your having difficulties with that (it does happen occasionally) I’ll email you a copy to be sure you can make some for your granddaughters. They would make great stocking fillers. I made some with sock yarn and a 2 mm hook and put them in everyone’s crackers a few years ago.

  34. super et merci beaucoup pour le tuto bravo

  35. Could you please send me the pattern for the teeny tiny snowmen. They are absolutely precious. Thank you.

  37. Oh, please please please tell me you have written patterns for: Hedley, Cyril, Wesley, Bradley, Harvey and Harriet, Marvello and Little Marvin and the Christmas Pudding People. I have just started crocheting using patterns. I have been crocheting for over 30 years and have always just crocheted blankets and scarves and hats, etc, not needing a pattern. These little creatures are adorable. Please help me out with this. I’ll pay for the patterns if you just tell me where to find them. You are a wonderfully creative crocheter.

  38. Fabulous little guys! Having props with Box & it won’t let me download the pdf pattern. Please would email me a copy? Thanks
